David Lynn Dotson, 64, of Clayton, passed away suddenly on December 8, 2016. He was born on December 20, 1951 to Garfield and Nola (Lawson) Dotson in Jellico, TN. David worked as a Paramedic at Good Samaritan Hospital for 39 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Garfield Dotson.
David is survived by his loving partner of 30 years, Todd Jergens. They loved to travel; and made many memorable trips to Fort Lauderdale and the Caribbean. In addition to his partner, David is survived by his mother, Nola; three brothers, Gary J, Ronnie (Iris), and Marc Dotson; nephew, Gary N Dotson; and cousins, Michael and Howard Williams. He is also survived by numerous friends and family.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016, from 5 – 8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to PFLAG of Dayton or the Montgomery County Humane Society.
