David Mark Lester

David Mark Lester, age 62 of Beavercreek, Ohio went to Heaven Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton. He was born November 22, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late William and Edna Lester.

Dave was a proud and loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Dave was a member of UAW #696, Gravely Tractor Club Of America (GTCOA), Lyre Lake Fishing Club, and the Moose Lodge #73 of Beavercreek. He enjoyed tinkering with his cars, rebuilding carburetors, restoring Gravely tractors and making new friends along the way, fishing, and hopelessly cheering on his Cincinnati Bengals.

Dave was preceded in death by his father, William Porter Lester, mother, Edna Statia (Muncy)Lester; and brother, William Ray Lester.

Dave is survived by his two daughters, Diana M. (Ryan) Vandegrift, Laura A. (Chris) Lee; grandchildren, Lyla V, Andrew V. and Ashton Lee; sister, Bobbie Miller; and beloved dog "Girlfriend" Libby; as well as numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be February 7, 2020 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Funeral Service will be begin at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
