David L. Craynon Jr.

David Louis Craynon, age 76, of Beavercreek, formerly of Centerville, passed away peacefully at home on July 16, 2023. David was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 5, 1946 to the late David and Norma Craynon. He was raised by his father and step-mother, June Craynon.
David is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Joe and Harry Craynon.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 56 years, Linda Craynon; daughters, Alicia (David) Craynon-Perkins and Carlee (Tom) Craynon; siblings, Charles, Donna, Al, Ann, Chris, Jenny, Robert, Jimmy, and John; granddaughter, Kendyl; great-granddaughter, Mila; as well as many nieces and nephews.
David retired from the fire protection industry after 57 years. He was very proud of his businesses and accomplishments in his line of work. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, gambling, basketball, watching movies and sports and spending time with his family. In his earlier years, he was very outgoing and friendly to everyone he met.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's memory to Day City Hospice, 7601 Paragon Rd Suite 201 & 203, Dayton, OH 45459.
