David Mickey Canup

David Mickey Canup, 60, passed away on February 18, 2023. Loving husband of Juella Canup for 42 years, cherished father of Matt (Alicia) Canup, Dusty (Lauren) Canup and Drema Canup, adored grandfather of Rylan, Gavin, Brynden, Lilyanna, Lance and Jasper, beloved brother of Eddie (Melanee) Canup and Ernie (Kathy) Canup. Dave was also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. He will be missed by all.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents Bobby and Nellie Canup and brothers Marty Canup and Keith Canup.

Dave was born on December 14th, 1962 in Atlanta, Georgia. He moved to Mt. Healthy where he met his wife and they started a family. Dave spent most of his career as an over the road trucker and finished as a contractor for Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

Dave enjoyed fishing, golfing and cars. He was known for playing pranks on his family and friends. He was quite good at it. Dave loved to entertain family and friends at the house. His most favorite time spent was time with his family.

Public visitation will be held on Monday February 27, 2023 at Agape Family Worship Center (4111 Mapleview Dr, Beavercreek, OH 45432) at 2:00 pm with funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm. Please consider a donation in Dave's memory to the family to assist in funeral expenses.
