David C. Lear Jr.

David C. "Burley" Lear Jr., age 67 of Fort Loramie, Ohio Sunset on October 13, 2024. Sunrise on December 16, 1956 in Bradford, Ohio son of the late David and Helen Lear Sr.

He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. David was a graduate of Bradford High School Class of 1975. He retired from Piqua Champion Foundary in 2017 after 52 years of service. After retirement he went to work at O' Reilly Machine Tool Services and Wagners IGA for several years. He loved fishing, hunting, motorcycle rides, and racing. David was stubborn as an ox, but had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone in need, especially his children. David will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Jacob Lear; great grandchild, and several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his children, Robin Burge, Heather Lear, Emily Lear, and Travis (Carrie) Lear; grandchildren, Dionmaniq Burge, Zandre Walker, Ayreona Burge, Octavia Walker, Asianek Burge, Zier Walker, Dakota Lear, Makaila Lear, Cody Baldwin-Lear, and Jordan Karnehm; great grandchildren, Brielle Burge, Giovonni Burge, and Stearling Burge; siblings, Helen, Bob, Connie, Joyce, Amy, Tom, Bill, Deanne, John, Laura, Nancy, and Sheila; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
