David R. Brooks

David Brooks, 65, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 in Franklin, Ohio. David was born on December 8, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Riley and Catherine Brooks. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brother, Steve Brooks and a grandson, Kayden Brooks. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sherry Brooks; children, Shawn Brooks, Marnie (Joe) Hermosillo, Joshua Brooks, Jeremy Brooks, and Jonathan Brooks; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild, as well as numerous other family and friends. Family will receive friends on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. He will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
