David A. Boyd

David A. Boyd, 59, of Bridgewater, MA passed on December 2, 2019 at the V.A. Hospital in Boston, MA, due to complications with a brief battle with cancer. Born in 1960 in Chelsea, MA, David proudly served our country in the United States Naval Construction Battalions better known as a "Seabee" and he was very dedicated to his job Cut-All-Tools for over 35 years.

David was a loyal, strong, loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his grandchildren as often as possible. He also enjoyed football (Patriots of course), fishing, horseshoes and country music.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Bettie S. Boyd.

He is survived by his father, Romans A. Boyd; brother, Timothy Boyd and wife Terri and sister, Sandra Olin and husband Steve. He is also survived by his loving and caring wife, Sandra Boyd (Lovato) of 41 years and his daughter, Jennifer Williams and her husband Brian and son, David R. Boyd and ex-wife Natalie. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Evan, Braelyn, Emma, Jordyn, Brooke and Avalon.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January, 11, 2020 at 1:00 pm with military honors at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424). The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service. Reception to follow.
