David Elijah Bauer

David Elijah Bauer "Dave", age 39, of Kettering, Ohio passed away February 28, 2020.

He was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 17, 1980. Dave attended Kettering City Schools, RETS Tech Center and Sinclair Community College. In his younger years Dave played football, karate and rode BMX. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, scuba diving and playing guitar.

Dave was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Carol Root and her husband, James Root, maternal grandfather, Jim Wilson, maternal uncle Michael Wilson and great-great aunt, Joyce Genth. He is survived by his mother, Debbie Bauer; his father, David W. Bauer and Connie Southcombe; brother, Daniel Bauer; sisters, Jennifer Phipps and husband, Johnathan Phipps, Cheyenne Beisner and husband, Kelly Beisner, Sierra Bauer, Rachael Bauer; step brother Tommy Bourquin; paternal grandmother, Judith Staddon and husband, Warren Staddon; uncles, Jim Wilson, and Michael Bauer and wife Melissa, cousins, Kristin, Josh, Jeremy and wife, Claudia, Christian Wilson and many friends.

Dave was very kind hearted and loved to help others. He left a good legacy, and will be remembered forever.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until time of memorial service at 4:00 on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
