David L. "Baby Dave" Leis, age 48 of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2014. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter L. and Nellie Smith, Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sheree Leis; sons, Dustin, Colton and Bryan; daughter, Chrissy; grandchildren, Lil Lewie, Lil Davey and Peaches; mother, Joanie Smith; loving step-father, Gayle Smith; uncle, Walter L. (Linda) Smith Jr.; cousins, Renee, Shelly and Walter Smith III; brothers from the One Ton Motorcycle Club and numerous family and friends.
Davey was a long standing member at Vandalia Grace Brethren Church and he always appreciated the love and kindness the Church family showed him and his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sheree Leis; sons, Dustin, Colton and Bryan; daughter, Chrissy; grandchildren, Lil Lewie, Lil Davey and Peaches; mother, Joanie Smith; loving step-father, Gayle Smith; uncle, Walter L.
