David Eugene Arnett

David Eugene Arnett, age 78, of Vandalia, passed away June 17, 2022. He was born March 29, 1944 in Troy, Ohio to the late Russell and Sarah Arnett. In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Lora Ann Arnett; and siblings: Billy Arnett, Elmer Arnett, Don Arnett and Evelyn Earick.

Dave is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda Arnett; children: Bill Arnett (Susan), Lisa Shira (Rick), Kristy Tanner, Beverly Reyes (Ramon) and Julie Murphy (Keith); 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sister, Jeanne Davis; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dave is also survived by his beloved dog, Buddy.

Dave loved fishing, mushroom hunting, camping, cookouts and taking drives. More than anything, Dave loved his family. He was a very giving man, always helping anyone in need.
