David Anthony Evans

EVANS, David Anthony

David (Dave) was born September 17, 1968, in Dayton, OH and passed away at Hospice August 1, 2024. 

He graduated from Stebbins H.S. and was formerly employed by Taco Bell, United Health Care, and Clancy’s. Dave was such a caring person who was known for his love of cooking, music, comic books, and being creative. He enjoyed spending time with friends and his dog Dook, who inspired him to create and sell Dave’s Best Dog Biscuits. Dave had a very special relationship with his grandmother “Mom”, who he helped take care of for many years. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Teressa Evans and his grandfather, Richard L. Evans. 

Dave is survived by his grandmother, Judith “Mom” Fitch; siblings, Richard (Brenda) and Darryl (Margaret), Rehema (Kimaru) Watenza and Debra (Jerry) Haynes; cousins, Mosi, Ayo, Sanyu, Nia, Elijah, Kyle and some amazing friends. 

Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd) on Saturday August 10, 2024 at 1:30 pm with memorial service to follow at 3:00 pm.
