David A. Landis

Landis, David A., age 67, of West Carrollton, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. David was a United States Navy Veteran and a member of VFW Post # 3438, West Carrollton. He retired from General Motors with over 22 years of service.

David is survived by his step children: Mark Pridemore, Stephanie Riggs & Kim Coomer; brother: George Landis; nephew: Michael Landis; and close friend: Susie Baggett. He was preceded in death by his wife: Elaine Landis; and parents: Burlin & Frances Landis.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the service at David's Cemetery in Kettering. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the nurses who assisted during David's illness.
