Dave Edward Elliott

Dave Edward Elliott, age 89 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Opis Fairway Oaks Center in Tampa, FL. He was born October 24, 1928 in Kokomo, Indiana, the son of the late Paul and Mary Elliott.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Elliott; 2 brothers; and 1 sister.
Dave is survived by his sons, Thomas (Norma) Elliott, Steven (Jacqueline) Elliott; grandchildren, Michael Tobias, Bradley Elliott, Daniel (Sara) Elliott, Robert Elliott, William Elliott; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Dave was a WWII Army veteran and retired from Chrysler Corporation after 35+ years. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Counsel #500, American Legion #586 in Tipp City and the Elks Lodge #58.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 5401 N. Main St, Dayton, OH 45415. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery with military honors.
