HICKS, Davana "Daisy," age 47, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 26, 2011. She is preceded in death by her father, Ray Allen Bass.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Franklin Lewis Hicks; mother, Leah Marie Bass; children, Sean (Tammy) Hicks, Daniel (Erica) Hicks, and Cassie (Matthew) Pennington; grandchildren, Zoe-Lynne Marie Hicks-Pennington, Connor Ayden James Hicks, Brooke-Anne Marie Hicks, Lana Ray Anne Hicks, Jakob Michael Hicks, and Leland Jasper Pennington; siblings, Allen Ray Bass, Beth Blythe, Christopher Bass, Eric Bass, and Farren Bass.
Daisy was most proud of her roles as Nana to her grandchildren, wife to her hubby, and Mom to her children and all their friends. She had a kind and loving way about her as well as a generous heart to all she came in contact with. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Faircreek Church, 2400 Faircreek Ridge Dr., Fairborn, OH 45324. Family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45432.
