Lindsey, Daryl Scott, age 60, of Centerville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 24, 2011.
Daryl was a United States Air Force Veteran serving nine years active duty at WPAFB. He then worked as a purchasing agent for Kettering Medical Center for over 20 years and most recently worked as a civil servant at WPAFB. He was a member of Southminster Presbyterian Church, F & AM #163 Waynesville, OES #594 Dayton-Victory Chapter and Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton.
Daryl is survived by his wife of over 37 years: Jackie; daughter and son-in-law: Penny (Mark) Wenning; sons and daughters-in-law: Gene (Angela) Jarman and Jack (Tammy) Jarman; three grandchildren: Brandon Kinlin, Maranda & Nicholas Jarman; father: Robert Lindsey; sisters: Jeanie Lindsey, Judy (Steve) Shaffer; and other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother: Georgia Lindsey.
Memorial services, including Masonic and Eastern Star services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 7001 Far Hills Ave. A reception will immediately follow the service at the church.
