Darryl D. Daugherty, age 49 of Huber Heights, passed away January 6, 2014. He was born October 11, 1964 in Dayton to the late Hershel Daugherty and Wanda Daugherty who survives. In addition to his father, Darryl was preceded in death by his nephew, Gary Lee Daugherty; and grandson, Michael Anthony.
Darryl is survived by his mother, Wanda; children: Jennifer, Heather and Kaitlyn; grandchildren: Jesslyn, Kieli and Eva; brothers: Steven (Daissy), Dale (Beverly), Gary (Pamela) and Floyd; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Darryl was a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served with the 82nd Airborne in Operation Desert Storm. He retired from the Army after many years of service. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
