Darrel Kilgore

Darrel G. Kilgore, age 67, of Kettering, passed away February 17, 2024. He was born October 21, 1956 in Letcher County, Kentucky. Darrel was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Earls; daughter, Angela Andres; and step-son, Eric Tool.

Darrel is survived by his wife, Deborah Kilgore; father and step-mother: Curtis, Sr. and Mary Lou Kilgore; brothers and sisters: Danny Kilgore, Madonna Ewald (Doug), Brenda Ditmer (John), Curtis Kilgore, Melvin Kilgore (Crystal) and Denia Adams (Trillis); grandchildren: Mykele, Skyler, Rush and Ryeder Andres; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Darrel was an automotive technician for 45 years and was known for his work with custom exhaust systems on vintage cars. He also restored classic cars and enjoyed attending car shows. Darrel attended Redemption Christian Tabernacle, loved dogs and country music, especially bluegrass.

Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 pm on Thursday, February, 22, 2024 at Redemption Christian Tabernacle, 11780 North Dixie Drive, Tipp City, Ohio, where the funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. If desired, contributions may be made in Darrel's memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
