Darlene McKenzie, of Dayton, age 74, passed away on December 4, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born on March 18, 1939 in West Van Lear, KY to the late William Jefferson and Martha Perry.
Darlene is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 49 years, Charles; and her sisters: Lorraine Conley, of Wabash, IN, and Jesse Pack of Centerville, OH.
Darlene is survived by her 2 sons: Michael McKenzie & Cressie Kadel, and Thomas (& wife Betty) McKenzie; grandchildren: Theron, Charlie, Michael Andrew, Amanda Danielle, Amanda Rachae'l, Kimberly Renee' and Kenneth Charles. She is also survived by her brothers: Frank, Buddy and Doug; and sisters: Dimple and Bonnie, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and various loved ones.
A gathering of friends will be held 5-7:00 PM, Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424, followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM, also at the funeral home.
