Darlene Heaberlin

HEABERLIN, Darlene Virginia, 75, of Union passed away Monday, June 23, 2008. She was born Feb.3, 1933 in Greenup, KY to Kenneth and Grace Harper. She later moved to New Orleans, LA where she resided for thirty years. Darlene has been a resident of Montgomery Co. for the past 19 years. She was a graduate from Wurtland High School and was a faithful employee of Kroger in Englewood from where she retired in 2003. Darlene is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother Jack W. (Georgia) Harper; children Pamela J. (Don) Jones and Jaquelyn L. Head; grandchildren Matthew Scott Jones, Jennifer Darlene (Kevin) Hill, Amanda Lynn Head, and Brayden Rodger Head; great grandchildren Savanna Jane Jones and Kennedy Rae Hill; numerous other family and friends, including special friends Susie Sparks and Sue Hoffman. She was a special lady and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00PM Thursday prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Polk Grove Cemetery.
