Darlene "Dolly" Daniels, 67, of Xenia, passed away on June 20, 2022 at Soin Medical Center. She was born on November 15, 1954 to Arland Daniel Sr. and Juanita (nee: Hood) Daniels in Dayton, Ohio.
Darlene was a retired educator and taught for the Dayton Bd of Education for 25 years. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary in Yellow Springs, OH and a member of Xi Kappa Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.
She enjoyed crafts and spending time with her friends and family. She loved animals, toys, dolls, marbles, and helping her community.
Darlene is survived by her brother, Arland (Linda) Daniels Jr.; her brother in-law, Larry Bowles; her aunt, Barbie Daniels; her uncle, Harold Daniels; her nieces; Dawn Barger, Arlene (Chadwick) Giacona-Vasquez, Gina Willie and Kathryn Bowles; her nephews, Scott (Margie) Bowles, Kevin Bowles, Michael Ripberger, Patrick Ripberger, and Jason Borja. She also is survived by her best friends, Patricia Welch and Helen Markman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Juanita and Arland Daniels Sr.; her sisters, Joann Bowles and Mary Ripberger; her brother, Paul Daniels and her aunt, June Welch.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 3 PM to 5 PM with services beginning at 5 PM, all at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Kettering, Ohio, with Rev. Bryan Graham officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Heifer Project International, P.O. Box 8058 Little Rock, AR or SICSA Pet Adoption and Wellness Center, 8172 Washington Church Rd, Washington Township, OH 45458.
Darlene's services will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
