Darlena Gayle Porter

Darlena Gayle Porter, 62, of Fairborn, OH, passed away on February 9, 2024. Darlena was born on October 13, 1961, in Mayesville, KY. She is remembered by her devoted mother, Myrtle Porter, her beloved daughter Cassandra Porter, and countless others whose lives were touched by her kindness and love.


Darlena was a woman who felt deeply for both family and friends, and her stubborn nature only tempered her unwavering love and loyalty. She was the friend that always showed up. She loved her job with Greene Cats and found great fulfillment in her career. She spoke often and lovingly of her coworkers and clients and the joy they brought to her life. She will be remembered for her dedication and passion in her professional life.


A memorial service to honor and celebrate Darlena's life will be held on February 23rd at the Newcomer Kettering chapel in Kettering, OH. Visitation will take place from 4-6pm, with a service to follow.
