Danny A. Miller

Danny A. Miller, age 70, of Huber Heights, passed away on October 31, 2021, at Hospice of Dayton, with his beloved wife by his side. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on September 23, 1951, the son of the late Robert and Evelyn Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving son, Brian Miller; and his brother, Douglas Miller.

Danny is survived by his wife of 46 years, Deborah Miller; children, Christopher Miller and Jeannette (Abdelilah) Horre; grandchildren, Raja and Abdelhakim; siblings, Robert (Betty) Miller, Suzanne (Steven) Combs and Terry (Cindy) Miller; and numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, family and friends.

Danny retired from Ohio Bell, after 33 years as an Installer. In his free time, he loved youth sports, especially baseball. He was known by many as "Coach Miller", and was a mentor to many children over the years. Danny was also an avid Cincinnati Reds, Ohio State University and horse racing fan. He was a very outgoing, friendly guy, who left an impression on everyone he met. Danny had a very giving nature and was always there to help anyone in need. He, and his stories, will be greatly missed by everyone!

The family wants to extend their heartfelt "Thank You" to the Paramedics of Huber Heights, the Critical Care Team at Miami Valley Hospital and the staff of Hospice of Dayton for the wonderful care given to Danny.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-8:00pm, on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 10:00am at the Funeral Home, with Pastor Steven Combs officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
