Danny L. Rogers, age 74, of Huber Heights, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021.
Danny was born in Pikeville, KY to the late Woodrow & Gertrude (Akers) Rogers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Dale Rogers and mother to his children, Naomi Rogers.
Danny is survived by his companion of 31 years, Mary Carson; sons, Dwayne (Michelle) Rogers and John Rogers; step-son, Brian Carson; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Roy Rogers and Sandy (Rick) Howell; and many other relatives and friends.
Danny was a lovable, stubborn man who enjoyed his coffee, cigarettes and blue grass music. He adored his grandchildren and never met a stranger. Danny retired from Dayton Industrial Drum after 20 years of service.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 5-8 pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The service will be held on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 10:30 am at the funeral home.
Danny will be laid to rest at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville, OH.
