Daniel Walters
Age 44, of Vandalia, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully on Monday, November 9, 2009, at Grandview Hospital.
Dan was preceded in death by one brother, Calvin Walters.
Dan is survived by his loving wife of the past 24 years, Jennifer L. (Stout) Walters; two cherished daughters, Sarah & her husband, Matt Graybeal and Ashley Walters; his parents, Pastor J. E. & Helen Walters; sister, Donna Norman; two brothers, David & his wife, Tina Walters and Sterling Walters; his in-laws, Charles & Jean Stout; grandmother in-law, Elizabeth Stevens; and by his extended family and many good friends.
Dan was a member of the Vandalia Christian Tabernacle and currently employed by Garbo's Hair Design in Vandalia. He enjoyed playing the organ & piano and singing. He loved life and had an easy laugh.
The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 14, at the Vandalia Christian Tabernacle, 836 S. Brown School Road, Vandalia. Memorial services will follow at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Todd Hoskins will officiate.
The family would like to thank the staff at Grandview Hospital and Crossroads Medical Center for the loving care they provided to Dan.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Dan to his family.
