Daniel R. Dwyer
Age 72, of Dayton, passed away Monday, December 25, 2006, at the Vandalia Park Nursing Home.
Dan was born May 26, 1934 in Dayton to Willis & Beatrice (Karl) Dwyer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Dwyer, his granddaughter, Jennifer Beecroft, and by two brothers, Donald and George "Jim" Dwyer.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tammy & John Beecroft; three grandchildren, Brian, Bradley and Christopher Beecroft; four step-grandchildren, Elijah, Jeremiah, Charity and Rebekah Dickey; one step-great grandchild, Durian; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William & Mary Jane Dwyer and Kenneth "Mick" & Ruth Dwyer; one sister and brother-in-law, Shirley & Pat Bray; and by nieces, nephews and many close friends.
Dan was a member of the Pipe Fitters & Plumbers Union for 32 years.
The family will be receiving friends from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., Thursday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions should be made to Children's Hospital in memory of Jennifer Beecroft.
