Daniel Morris "Dan", age 74 of Dayton, passed away February 22, 2018. He was born March 2, 1943 in Greenmount, KY to the late Robert and Eva (Fee) Morris. In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray, Roy and RB "Bob" Morris.
He is survived by his daughters, Melissa (Bill) Foster and Jennifer Morris; grandchildren, Joel Foster, Julie Foster and Sarah Foster; brother, Vernon Morris; mother of his children, Cheryl (Gorsuch) Morris and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Dan worked for Isaac Fence Company in the Dayton area for many years. Dan was best known for his love of cars, especially Corvettes, and is a former member of Brookville Corvette Club.
Dan's life will be celebrated on Saturday May 5, 2018 at the Amvets Post 99, 1123 S. Brown School Rd, Vandalia, OH 45377. In Dan's honor, if you love cars like he did, please drive your favorite on this day for a final cruise-in with Dan. Cruise-in and visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
Among those who loved him, Dan was known for his generosity. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, the family asked that you please make a donation to National Stroke Association and/or American Heart Association, in Dan's memory.
