Daniel M. Hampton, age 63, of Springboro, passed away, Friday, February 18, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Aileen Lawhorn; step-father, Edwin Golden; and brother, David Hampton.
Danny is survived by his wife of 22 years, Debbie Hampton(Bollheimer); children, Nic Hampton, Cydnie Hampton and Erin (Rob) Voehringer; brother, Robert (Lucinda) Golden; sisters, Janet (Gary) Oppie and Barb McBain; special sister-in-law, Cheryl Hampton-Oliver; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Danny was a graduate of Dixie High School.
He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. D
anny went to work in 1969 at Frigidaire Division General Motors, and remained with them until they closed in 2008.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 1-3pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439).
The memorial service will be held Monday, March 7, 2011 at 1:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Dayton National Cemetery.
