LOVY, Daniel Patrick
age 67 of Huber Heights, OH passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at his home. Daniel was born in Weirton, West Virginia on December 30, 1938. He served and retired from the U. S. Air Force, serving one tour of duty in Vietnam. He also retired from the Dayton National Cemetery and the V.A. Hospital. He enjoyed coaching softball, fishing, Nascar, and was an avid Pittsburg Steelers Fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Selma Lovy and sister, Mary Karpinski. He is survived by his beloved wife, Bernadette Lovy; children, Daniel M. Lovy and wife, Susan and their son, Jeromy of New Lebanon, OH; Karen J. Bass of Huston, TX, her children, Danny Lovy of Huber Heights, Nicole Abner, and Leah Creekmore of Houston, TX; Sherry L. Heath, her children, Austin and Samantha Heath of Heber Heights, OH; Sheryl L. Tarler and husband, Tevi Tarler and her son, Zac Rucker of Eaton, OH; Laurie L. McQueary and companion, Craig Norris, her son, Dalton McQueary and their daughter, Lacy Norris of Huber Heights, OH; Patrick A. Lovy and his companion, Shelly Lightle and children, Baily and Brooklyn Lovy of Fairborn, OH; and Denise Church, daughter, Sierra Saudis and her son Brandon Church of Fairborn, OH. He has one great grandson, Gaige Martin of Houston, TX; brothers, Robert Lovy of Houston, TX, Edward Lovy of New Cumberland, WV, Bernard Lovy and wife, Lorraine of New Cumberland, WV; sisters, Francis Rocchio and husband, Clemens of New Cumberland, WV, Regina Miller and husband, Paul of New Cumberland, WV, and Cynthia Arrango of New Cumberland, WV; his special friend, Randy Rucker of Camden, OH and a host of nieces and nephews. A special thank-you to all the nurses and staff at Hospice of Dayton for granting Daniel's wish to stay home. Private services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton Chapel. Interment will be in Dayton National Cemetery.
