Daniel Llewellyn

LLEWELLYN, Daniel W. age 73, of Beavercreek, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Dayton VA hospital. He was born in Athens, OH. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1957 and served nine years in the Ohio National Guard. He retired from Dayton Power and Light after 35 years. He was an active member of the VFW and American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra and Norma Llewellyn; brother, Louis; and sister, Virginia Marie Hancock. He is survived by his children, Thomas Llewellyn, Evan Llewellyn, Garrett Llewellyn, Mark Llewellyn, and Marsha Young; and 3 grandchildren. Services will be 4 pm Friday, March 6, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. The family will receive friends from 3 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion, Post 763, 3200 Dayton-Xenia Rd. in Beavercreek.
