Daniel Lawrence Cox Sr.

Daniel Lawrence Cox, age 89 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born September 18, 1925 in LaFollette, Tennessee the son of Dewey and Rachel Cox.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Katherine Scott and a brother, Sam Cox.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Blanche; three sons, Daniel (Terry) Cox Jr., Mark D. (Carol) Cox, and Donald L (Becky) Cox; five grandchildren, Zachary Cox, Aaron Cox, Bobby Cox, Nathan Cox, and Michelle Jones; and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 9, 2015 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
