Daniel L. Thomason

Daniel L. Thomason, age 64, of Huber Heights, passed away quietly Saturday, January 1, 2011.

Born in Harlan KY on September 22, 1946, his family moved to the Dayton area when Dan was very young.

He started his typewriter career with IBM around 1965. He spent 11 years as a typewriter repairman with them before opening his own business. He had D&S Superior Typewriter Service for over 20 years.

He loved woodworking, gardening, old cars, and his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Thomason.

His survivors include his wife, Ann (Roe) Thomason; father, Arthur; brother, Donald (Lisa); children, Michelle Philpot (Brian), Stacy Woods (Kenyon), Nicole McKinney (Jeff) and Cary Roe (Michelle); grandchildren; Josh and Jake Philpot.

Services will be at First Baptist Church Miamisburg on Wednesday, January 5, 2011. Visitation will start at 11:00am and funeral services will begin at 1:00pm. Burial will be at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.

There will be a meal served at First Baptist Church Miamisburg after the graveside services in memory of Dan.
