Daniel L. "Dano" Minnich
Age 50, of Vandalia, passed away Friday, July 31, 2009, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald E. Minnich, Sr.
Dano is survived by his mother, Winnifred M. (Wyrick) Minnich; one son, Daniel S. (& his wife, Rebecca Collett) Minnich; two granddaughters, Madison & Allison Minnich; four brothers, Donald E., twin brother David R. (Donna), Douglas (Rhonda) and Darryl (Gina) Minnich; ex-wife, Terri Minnich; and by his extended family & many good friends.
Dano was a motorcycle enthusiast and the former owner of Minnich's Trucking. He was a member of Eagles # 3621 and the American Legion # 746.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday (8/4), at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum.
If friends desire, contributions may be made in memory of Dano to the American Cancer Society.
