Daniel J. Kvenvold

December 7, 1928 — February 6, 2018

Daniel Johnson Kvenvold, age 89, passed away on the 6th of February.

He was born in 1928 in Omaha, NE to Phillip and Virgean Kvenvold, Dan is a graduate of Davis High School in Kaysville, UT. He enlisted in the Army Air Force in 1946, attended the University of Utah, and graduated in 1956 with a BS in Business Management. He was employed by the U.S. Air Force as a Logistics Manager at Wright Patterson AFB where he received a medal for Outstanding Civilian Service, and the Kvenvold Software Support Facility was named in his honor at the Kelly Air Force Base in Texas. He retired in 1990.

Dan enjoyed tennis, skiing, golf, and competitive ballroom dancing. Dan was a member of the Kettering and Centerville Lions Club for over 30 years, and he was a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church for over 60 years. He was treasurer of the Blind Veteran's Association.

He was preceded in death by his son Steven, older brothers Wallace and Vertus, and younger sister Helen. He is survived by his wife, Roberta, daughter, Sharon Cullin, and five grandchildren, Jacqueline, Austin, Colin, Devon, and John Smith.

Services will be held at Westminister Presbyterian Church at 10am followed by burial at 1pm at Dayton National Cemetery on February 16th.
