Daniel Joseph Dalton

Dalton, Daniel Joseph, age 68, of West Carrollton, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 45 years: Judy (Steffen) Dalton; devoted daughter and son-in-law: Ann-Marie (Jesse) Evans; loving "Poppy" to Jacob and Luke; sister: Mary Jane Gable; mother-in-law: Alice Steffen; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Jane & Virgil Morris, Jack & Judy Steffen, Bonnie & Ron Hershey, Lisa & John Mock; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and special friends. Daniel retired from the State of Ohio. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Mark Romer, Dr. Harry Fronista and their staffs for all the care and support. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 411 East Second St., Dayton, Ohio 45402. Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Kettering. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420, or to the charity of one's choice in memory of Daniel.
