Daniel K. Evans, age 64 of Kettering, passed away August 23, 2011. He was born January 28, 1947 in Dayton to the late Edmond and Doris Evans.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 44 ½ years, Nancy Evans; daughter, Kerri Evans; granddaughter, Brooklynn; nephew, Kenny Bocock; brother, David (LouAnn) Evans; sister, Ellen (Larry) Earwood;; many other loved ones and friends.
Daniel was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Vietnam War.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, August 29, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Daniel's memory to The Oaks of West Kettering Nursing Home, 1150 West Dorothy Lane, Kettering, Ohio 45409.
