Daniel Robert Eggert

Daniel Robert Eggert, age 76, of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2024. He was born on May 7, 1948 in Syracuse, NY, and lived in East Syracuse , New York, Chittenango, New York and Centerville, Ohio prior to moving to Zephyrhills. Dan was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

Daniel led a life marked by honor and dedication. As a Marine, he was known for his unwavering commitment to his country and his family. 

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia, their children, Patrick, Travis (Michele) and Shelby (Mark) and their many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Daniel’s love and laughter will be profoundly missed by his family and friends.

In his final heroic act, Dan donated his body to science to help find a cure for heart disease and dementia. The Celebration of Dan's wonderful life is scheduled for October 14, 2024, at 9:30 AM, at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Boulevard North, St. Petersburg, Florida 32708.
