Daniel E. Schultz, age 77 of Springfield, formerly of Dayton, passed away October 29, 2012. He was born January 6, 1935 in Dayton to the late Francis and Margaret Schultz. In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte; and brothers and sisters: Ralph, Paul, Phyllis, Tommy and Patty.
Dan is survived by his children: Mark (Dianna) Schultz, Jane Bryan and Jerome Schultz; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Dan was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Korean Conflict; retired from General Motors, Inland Division in Vandalia after 35 years of service; former member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and a current member of Sacred Heart.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Hospice of Dayton for the wonderful care and support that they gave to them during their father's illness. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dan's name to The Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
