Daniel “Danny” Ray Beach, 68, passed away on February 28, 2025, in Springfield, OH.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Cora Beach, and his children Chris (Katie) Beach, Shawn (Destiney) Beach, Candice (Josh) Rectenwald, and Ashley (Tyler) Markowski, as well as nine grandchildren, his brother Butch Beach, and family of Columbus, GA. He was preceded in death by his son, DJ Beach, his parents Bennie and Jeanette Beach, and his grandson, Milo Markowski.
Born on June 12, 1956, in Columbus, GA, Danny lived a life marked by dedication, resilience, and a deep love for his family and passions. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy before embarking on a long career as a truck driver. A hardworking and outspoken man, he was known for his ability to fix just about anything — a skill he eagerly passed down to his children. In his early years, he coached his children in baseball, sharing his love for the game and imparting valuable lessons both on and off the field. He found joy in golfing, camping, boating, serving the Amvets, and riding his motorcycle. In his later years, he transitioned to a permanent site at Indian Lake, where he loved cruising in his golf cart and hanging with his wife and dogs. He also took great pride in tending to his chickens and keeping himself busy with various projects to stay active. His deep love for his grandchildren was evident in the time he spent with them, showing up to sporting events, school functions, and celebrations. Though he was a man of few words, his actions spoke volumes about his care and commitment to those around him.
Danny’s legacy is one of hard work, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to those he held dear. A private memorial will be held in his honor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
