Daniel L. Bennett "Dan", age 93 of Miamisburg, passed away April 20, 2023. He was born February 12, 1930 in Bassett, Arkansas to the late Mac A. and Ludie Mae (Long) Bennett. In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Nelson.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 73 year, Nedra Bennett; children, Blair (Sherrie) Bennett of Marion, Indiana, Dani (Ken) Conley of Centerville Ohio, and Brad Bennett of Newark, Delaware; grandchildren, Jennifer Brown, Jessica Stapleton, Shannon Conley, Kevin Bennett, Ryan Bennett and Sean Bennett; great-grandchildren, Thatcher Brown, Landon Stapleton, Ari Wright and Kane Wright; his sister, Chris Heyd and numerous extended family and dear friends.
Dan attended Flint Tech High School and Flint Junior College. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber, Tire Engineers and Montgomery Ward. Dan served our country achieving the rank of Corporal in the US Army beginning in 1952. His time in the service took him overseas to see action in the Korean War before being honorably discharged in 1954.
