Daniel Lee Baker "Danny", age 72 of Kettering, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023 at Kettering Health Main Campus. He was born December 7, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Virgil and Geneva Baker.

Danny is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Barbara Baker; daughter, Andrea (Larry Liming) Cregar; three grandchildren, Christapher Cregar, Elisabeth Cregar, and Cole Cregar; great-granddaughter, Avianna Cregar; sister, Verle Jean (Lloyd) Bowman; brother, Steve Baker. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Danny retired from the Army National Guard and General Motors. He enjoyed watching old western movies, collecting and treasure hunting, tinkering, his Harley Davidson, and feeding his critters.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am - 11:00 am on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home-Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 am. The family requests that all guests remain in casual attire or 1960-1970's clothing, no formal wear please. Danny will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park (8135 N Dixie Drive, Dayton, OH 45414).
