Daniel Edward Baer Sr.

Daniel Edward Baer Sr., 62, of Dayton, passed away July 2, 2017. Daniel was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 28, 1955 to the late John and Lila Baer. In his free time he enjoyed golfing, bowling and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Culberson.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cathy Baer; children, Jennifer (Andrew) Flagg, Daniel (Roxanne) Baer, Jr., Jessica (Sean) Baer, Michael (Jamie) Baer, Luke (Sarah) Baer, Amanda; grandchildren, Christian, Peyton, Brackston, Taylor, Gillian, Kaylee, Wyatt, Dresden, Leyna, Valkyrie, Thorra, Loki; siblings, John T. Baer, Phillip (Dr. JoAnne) Baer, James (Carol) Baer, Kenneth (Betty) Baer, Sharon Turner, Karen (Lester) Weller, David (Mary) Baer, Thomas Baer, Robert (Patricia) Baer, Christopher Baer, Mary Baer; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, where the service will immediately follow. Friday, July 7, 2017, a brief prayer service will be held at 10am. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens. Mike Shubert welcomes everyone to the Red Carpet Tavern, 3301 Wayne Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420, following the burial.
