Daniel A. Tharp, Sr.
Daniel Allen Tharp, age 61 of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Dayton, passed away August 21, 2011 in Florida. He was born September 10, 1949 in Dayton to the late Gladys and Donald Tharp. In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Davidson.
He is survived by daughter, Rebecca Mobley; son, Daniel (Jodee) Tharp, Jr.; grandchildren: Jena, Bodie, Bretta and Daisy; sisters: Karen (Charles) Peaco, Rebecca (David) Crocker, Debbie (E.M.) Evans and Kathy (Chris) Stacy; 8 nieces; 6 nephews; many other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park.
