Dana L. Hagins

Dana L. Hagins, age 72, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

Dana was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on July 30, 1951 to the late Linville & Juanita Hagins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Curtis Hagins; daughter, Jamie Medlin; and sister, Brenda Hagins.

Dana is survived by his son-in-law, Brad Medlin; granddaughters, Jordan (Brad) Baird, Taylor (Jeremiah) Wolf and Julia Medlin; great-grandchildren, Lilian, Cade and Logan; sisters, Debbie (Roger) Salee and Rebecca (Dennis) Jones, niece and nephews, Roger, Juanita and Randy; and many other relatives and friends.

Dana retired from Blue Bird Bakery, which later became Hostess. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, enjoyed learning about the civil war, being outdoors, fishing and most of all spending time with family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 9:30am-10:30am at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45424. The service will follow at 10:30am. Dana will be laid to rest at 1:30pm at Memorial Burial Park, 10556 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, Ohio 45694.
