Dana C. Rickard, age 57, of Huber Heights, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Rickard; and niece, Misty Anderson.
Dana is survived by his wife of 17 years, Nina A. Rickard; step-children, Jim (Ginny) Purvis, Janet (Bart) Schwieterman, and Jeff (Deanna) Purvis; grandchildren, Tory and Alex Purvis, Chris, TJ, and Andrew Schwieterman, and Colette Muller; father, George Rickard; siblings, Walt (Debbie) Rickard, Rick (Diane) Rickard, Karen (Joe) Denny; nieces and nephews, Jessica, Nathan, and Ricky Rickard, and Jason Denny; and many other relatives and friends.
Dana was a member of the Eagles Lodge #2641. He was an avid NASCAR fan. Dana was a quiet private man who loved his family.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 11AM-1PM at Newcomer Funeral Home North Chapel.
