Dan Berry

Dan Berry, age 64, of Beavercreek OH passed away unexpectedly on December 29, 2024 at his home. He graduated in 1979 from Beavercreek HS, and was employed at Sonoco Products Co. as an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Tech (electromechanic) since 1978. Dan enjoyed golfing, writing poetry, tinkering with vehicles, grilling and spending time with his family and friends.

Dan was welcomed to Heaven by his parents Bob and Rita (Deppen) Berry, both sets of grandparents, 16 aunts and uncles, several cousins, and good friend Dave Miller. Dan was proud of and Is survived by his son Alex Berry, his daughter Brittany Berry, and “grand-godson” Bristin and grandpup Jude. Surviving him also are three brothers and two sisters: Bob (Pam) Berry, Becky (Doug) Tipton, Bill (Michele) Berry, Jim (Lisa) Berry and Kathy (Paul) Wyatt. Survivors also include 15 nieces and nephews, 16 great-nieces and great-nephews, Aunt Jean (TK) Deppen-Wills, Aunt Julia Berry, an enormous extended family, as well as lifetime friends.

Dan was a hard worker, great provider and had unconditional love for his children. He was the most dependable person you could ever know. He was also the “King” of the golf course over his brothers, and always ready with a “dad joke” or a good story. He was a private person but had such a way of sharing his silver lining outlook and his deep knowledge about life. We will miss his advice, hugs and the love he had for his family.

Services will be held at Newcomer Centerville Chapel, (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, OH 45459), on Sunday, the 12th of January 2024.
