Dallas Gene Rose
July 2, 1944 — October 4, 2020
Dallas Gene Rose, age 76 of Moraine, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born July 2, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Dallas and Geneva Rose. He is also preceded in death by his bonus son, Jeff Cansler.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Debra Rose; three children, Jason D. Rose, Jeannie S. North and Dallas W. Rose. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Dallas was a retired from Avery Dennison after dedicating forty years of his life as a Tool Crib Attendant. He was a brilliant but quiet man who enjoyed playing the guitar, collecting Matchbox and Mopar cars, and organizing his large collection of beer cans. Dallas was well loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to his nurse, Pam with Hospice of Dayton.
Memorial Gathering will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Kettering Chapel. The Memorial Service will be officiated at 11:00 am by Cheri A. Bushee.
