Dallas Leo Brock, born on November 5, 1949, in Blue Ash, Ohio, left this world peacefully on January 28, 2025, surrounded by the loving embrace of his family. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and brother, whose kindness and giving nature profoundly touched the lives of those around him.
A proud graduate of Beavercreek High School in 1967, Dallas embarked on a successful career in construction with Dallas Brock Builders, later expanding his expertise into traveling construction superintendent for 15 years for various companies. His dedication to his work was complemented by a passion for building, carpentry, and classic cars—a testament to his creative spirit and love for hands-on craftsmanship. Beyond his professional achievements, Dallas was always drawn to antiques, collecting model cars and other various items and carpentry projects, pursuits that brought him joy and satisfaction.
Dallas was deeply dedicated to his family, and it was this bond that brought him his greatest joy. He shared a beautiful 56-year marriage with his beloved wife, Patricia Brock. The love they cultivated together stood as a shining example for their children, Melissa (Tim) Durham and Bernadette (Patrick) Johnston, who carry forward the values and love he instilled in them. As a grandfather, he adored his grandchildren, Mason Henderson, Carter Henderson, Brooke Johnston and Dallas Johnston, showering each of them with love and affection.
He is also survived by his sisters, Brenda (Mitch) Cosler and Cathy Nivison as well as cherished friends and family members, including many nieces and nephews whose lives he enriched. Dallas was predeceased by his parents, Dallas and Eula Brock; his son, Zachary Brock; and sister Beverly White, all of whom he held dear.
Dallas's warmth and generosity of spirit will always be remembered. He was a man who found immense satisfaction in spending time with his loved ones, creating lasting memories that will endure long after his passing. His legacy of love is a guiding light for those he leaves behind, reminding us all of the importance of family, friendship, and kindness.
