Dale Edward Swayne, age 89 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 2, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Eugene and Bonnie Swayne.
Dale was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He worked for Vandine Carate for 20 years and the for Montgomery County for 10 years. Upon his retirement, Dale enjoyed working at Kittyhawk Golf Course collecting golf balls. He liked to stay active playing tennis, and later golf. He and his friends liked to get together at the old Chateau to play Gin in their spare time. Dale was a great dad and he would do anything he could for those he cared for. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his daughter, Holly Baker; and brother, Jim Swayne.
Dale will be missed by his loving daughter, Stacy (Ron) Schulz; grandchildren, Jessica Swayne, Austin Schulz, Amanda Westfall and Shelby Smith; many great grandchildren; brother, Clinton Lee Swayne; nephews, Jim and Chip Swayne; and niece, Kim Swayne.
At a later date, Dale will be laid to rest with his other family members.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dale's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
