Dale Sue Kennedy, born on November 23, 1953, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on January 13, 2025. She was a remarkable individual whose presence enriched the lives of all who had the privilege know her.
For an impressive 38 years, Dale dedicated herself to working for Corrine Huber, forging a relationship that transcended the traditional employer-employee dynamic. The nearly mother-daughter bond they developed is a testament to Dale’s capacity for kindness and her deep understanding of the human connection.
Dale was known for her generous spirit and selfless nature, often putting the needs of others before her own. Her fun-loving personality brought joy to family gatherings, where her laughter and playful demeanor created cherished memories. Dale found immense pleasure in simple activities such as playing card games, a favorite pastime shared with family and friends.
Dale is survived by her lifelong partner, Richard Brown; her son, Robert (Judy) Cox; and her beloved grandchildren: Cassie (Thom), Emily, Olivia, and Ryland. She also delighted in her role as a great-grandmother to Anna, Noah, Henry, Maleena, Race, and Atlas. Dale shared a close bond with her siblings, John and Danny (Sheila), and will be missed by her cherished nieces, Peggy and Tammy, as well as her nephews, Jamie and Steve. Her loyal dog, Griff, was also a constant companion, offering undying love and loyalty.
Dale was preceded in death by her parents, John and Susie Kennedy; her sister, Shirley Cope; her nephew, Coby Cope; and numerous dearly loved pets who graced her life over the years.
In remembrance of Dale Sue Kennedy, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and selflessness—a life that touched many and will be cherished by those who remain.
