Dale Max "Hoover" Hoover, Jr., age 51, of Kettering, passed away January 9, 2023.
He was born August 7, 1971 in Houston, Texas. "Hoover" graduated from Fairmont East High School, Class of 1989, and was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. In his younger years he enjoyed Boxing and boxed Golden Gloves as well as during his Army service. Dale also won "Tough Man" contests over the years. He was currently employed at Frickers on Woodman Drive, and enjoyed watching movies in his free time.
Dale was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Lois Lutz. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Donna and Ed Suber; his aunt, Gayle Smith, his aunt and uncle, Lynn and Steve Lutz; along with his half-sister, Sherri Lien; his cousins, David Smith, Kristen Strelis, Laura Strelis, and his friends at Frickers.
"Hoover" will always be remembered for his good heart and for making others laugh.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 1:00 pm until time of memorial service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
